The Next Big Thing

What's the title of your book? 
Most recently? Forcing Corinne. The one I'm dreaming up now? Make Me.

Where did the title come from? 
A single sexy thought I had late one night.

What genre does your book fall under? 
Erotica. Hard-core. The new one is F/f, but the first three are M/f.

Self-pubbed or represented? 
Self-published. In another life, on another blog, I'm an award-winning internationally-bestselling author, but out here in fantasy-land, I'm my own dream-girl. Self-publishing suits me just fine.

How long did the first draft take? 
The current work is taking longer because I'm working on other obligation, alas, but the first two novellas took about a month each. A little additional time for revising, and then add some more for professional copyediting (a must -- who wants to deal with typos when they're reading one-handed?), so maybe three months total.

One sentence synopsis: 
Jane has no idea what happened to her boundaries, and Ruby's determined to find out.

To what would you compare your other books? 
As a teenager, I was fond of The Story of O while I was furtively reading it in the self-help section of the local bookstore. I think it gave me . . . certain inspirations and themes to which I keep returning.

Who or what inspired you to write this book? 
Oh, honey. All of them. And that One, the one who still makes me so hot I sweat.
